Summer 2021

A new virtual

The race

Virtual VBS

The Virtual Val Brevettola Skyrace is a virtual race, with rankings based on times recorded by individual GPS. We decided to propose a "virtual" event again because also this year, due to the restrictions caused by the ongoing pandemic, it would not have been possible to realize a real Val Brevettola Skyrace, with that atmosphere of sharing and friendship that distinguishes our race. So we decided to keep the memory of Meme and Dado in this way. The Virtual Val Brevettola Skyrace will start on 1 July and finish on 12 September.

A VBS that last all summer

rules

Rules are simple

1) From 1° Luglio al 12 Settembre you can ride the Val Brevettola tour (GPS track on the website) recording your performance with a personal device: a sports watch, a mobile phone with a special app installed (such as Strava). We are available to clarify any doubts.

2) In order to be able to be part of the ranking, you must register for the race. You can be registered every day at the Bar Miravalle in Cresti (Montescheno). The cost will be 5 euros and will include a small race package, containing the race number.

3) The Gps track (total time, not time in motion) must be sent to valbrevettolarace@gmail.com by 9 p.m. on 15 September. It is essential to enter your race number so that it can be linked to your registration.

4) At the end of the event, we will award prizes to the first three finishers in the male and female categories.

Some news

Taking part in the Virtual Val Brevettola Skyrace already means creating a bridge towards 2022. In fact, for those who will have participated in this event, the registrations for the 5th edition of the Val Brevettola Skyrace will open one week earlier! As we expect a race to win each of the 250 available places, this will be a major advantage!

After finishing the race, you will find a box in the square in Montescheno where you can get your "Finisher" pin. A small souvenir for those who manage to complete their "journey" on our trails. A sort of self-awarding ceremony: naturally, only those runners who have finished the race will be able to take their pin.
